If there’s one thing I’ve learned from being here in Haiti, its that no matter how inspirational or awesome your target is, you will inevitably have moments when you’re ready to quit or stop pursuing it. When those moments come, you have a difficult choice to make: Should I quit and move on to a new pursuit, or should I persevere and continue to fight for my target?

A few blocks away from our house, there is a small restaurant called “Pizza Amour”. It’s located on a dusty side street filled with pot-holes and rocks, but for many of its patrons, its one of their favorite places in Port-au-Prince.
Greetings from Port-au-Prince, Haiti! As I start my internship with Rebuild Globally, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how I got here and provide some first impressions of the city to kick off my 9 week stay!
